After working as a school-based occupational therapist for almost a decade, I've seen time and time again 3 different types of letters that greatly impact a student's overall handwriting legibility! Dive letters are one of these types! 
 
Handwriting was created to be a fluid and efficient means of written communication. Students who aren't taught how to form letters properly or are taught when they were little to form letters in SEGMENTS are at a huge disadvantage down the road since their writing may appear sloppy and messy!
